Yes. We regularly equip remote workers and digital nomads in co-living spaces, serviced apartments and short-term rentals across both cities. Our remote working range includes monitors, office chairs, keyboards and webcams — everything you need for a productive workspace.

Each calendar day counts as one rental day, ensuring we have adequate time to thoroughly inspect, sanitise, and prepare each item between rentals. This policy allows us to deliver the cleanest, safest gear for your little one while giving you peace of mind throughout your rental period.

Example: A 3-day rental picked up Monday = due back Wednesday (3 total days).

We appreciate your understanding as we maintain these standards for all our families!

Late Returns & Refunds

Late returns incur additional rental fees. Repeated delays may affect future bookings.

We appreciate you letting us know your plans have changed, and we understand that schedules can shift unexpectedly. However, our policy is that we do not offer refunds for early returns or unused rental periods.

When you book an item with us, we reserve it exclusively for you for the entire rental duration, making it unavailable for other families. This means we may have had to turn away other bookings for that product.

Once we process your refund, it may take up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed by the payment processor.

Product Information, Maintenance & Sanitisation

We stock premium brands including Cybex, Stokke, Maxi-Cosi, Wonderfold, BabyBjorn, Hauck, Graco, Baby Jogger, Britax-Römer and more. If you’re looking for a specific brand or model, mention it in the Special Requests field at checkout and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Yes. We offer a full range of mobility equipment including standard and XXL wheelchairs (up to 225kg), lightweight foldable mobility scooters, walkers, crutches, bathroom safety aids and more. All mobility equipment is sanitised between every rental.

Yes. You can rent monitors (including Lenovo and LG models), ergonomic office chairs, keyboards, mice and webcams individually or as a package. Perfect for digital nomads on longer stays who want a professional workspace without buying or shipping equipment.

Every item is deep-cleaned and sanitised after each return using perfume-free, baby-safe cleaning products that follow the manufacturer’s specific instructions for that item. We do not permit customers to machine-wash or disassemble items — we handle all cleaning ourselves to maintain consistent, high standards. Items are inspected for safety before every rental.

Please, do not disassemble, machine-wash, or use harsh chemicals on our equipment. All equipment needs to follow rigorous manufacturer cleaning instructions, therefore, we are happy to take care of the cleaning. Spot-cleaning with mild soap is allowed.

We trust you’ll treat our gear with the same care we do! Here’s what you need to know:

Keeping Gear Clean & Safe

• Food & drinks are only permitted in high chairs/boosters
• Smoking is prohibited near any equipment (odours absorb into materials)

Cleaning Fees May Apply If:

• Items are returned with excessive dirt, vomit, or diaper accidents (+EUR25 deep cleaning fee per item)
• Smoke odour is present (if unfixable, replacement cost applies)
You’re responsible for:

  • Loss/theft of items
  • Equipment damage that isn’t covered by the equipment warranty

We know accidents happen – this policy keeps rentals affordable while protecting our quality gear!

Tip: Treat items like you would your own baby gear to avoid additional charges.

Yes. All car seats in our fleet are EU-approved to ECE R44/04 or the newer ECE R129/i-Size standard, and are legal for use in Portugal and France. We provide printed instructions and, where available, video setup guides with every car seat rental.

Equipment Usage

We share usage instructions with every booking and we recommend reading them before setting up any equipment to avoid issues. If you run into issues despite following instructions, please contact our team and we will be happy to assist you.

Here are the key car seat rules in Portugal (as of 2024), based on EU regulations and Portuguese traffic laws:

(1) Age/Height/Weight Requirements

  • Rear-facing seats: Mandatory for infants under 15 months (EU Regulation R129/i-Size).
  • Forward-facing seats: Allowed after 15 months, but rear-facing is recommended up to 4 years (or until the child outgrows the seat’s limits).
  • Booster seats: Required for children under 135 cm tall (approx. 4’5″) or under 12 years old – whichever comes first.

(2) Legal Standards

  • Only EU-approved car seats are legal:
    • ECE R44/04 (weight-based) or
    •  ECE R129/i-Size (height-based, safer).
  • Look for the orange approval label on the seat.
  • ISOFIX systems are recommended but not mandatory if seats are installed correctly with seat belts.

(3) Taxis & Ride-Sharing

  • Taxis are exempt from car seat rules (but parents can request one).
  • Uber/Bolt: No legal requirement, but drivers may refuse children without seats.
  • The majority of taxis do not carry car seats suitable for newborns and infants.

(4) Fines & Penalties

  • €120–€600 fine for non-compliance.
  • Insurance may be void in accidents if the rules are violated.

(5) Rental Car Rules

  • Rental companies must provide legal car seats if requested (book in advance).
  • Inspect seats for EU approval labels before use.

Pro Tip:

Rear-facing is safest – keep children rear-facing as long as possible (up to seat limits). We offer a range of rear-facing car seats.

Never place a rear-facing seat in front of an active airbag.

For official details, visit the Portuguese Highway Code (Código da Estrada).

For safety and liability reasons, we cannot install car seats on your behalf. However, we ensure you have everything needed for proper installation:

✔ Detailed instructions (printed manual or video guide provided)
✔ Clear labelling on the car seat itself with basic setup steps

Your child’s safety is our top priority—always:

  1. Review the full user manual before use
  2. Double-check your installation
  3. Reach out if you have any questions

Yes! Mention it in the Special Requests section at checkout. We’ll accommodate if available.

Digital Nomads & Long Stays

Quite a lot. For longer stays, many of our remote-working customers rent a monitor, office chair and accessories to set up a proper home office. We can also supply homeware essentials like a dehumidifier, steam iron or air purifier for the duration of your stay. Monthly stays benefit from our reduced long-term daily rates.

Yes. Beyond equipment, we can assist with trip planning, transport arrangements and grocery delivery in both Lisbon and Paris. Contact us via WhatsApp or email at info@rent-anything.com with your requirements and we’ll put together a plan for you.

Quick answers

The eight questions we are asked most, answered in full. Everything else is in the sections above.

What is the minimum rental period?

There is no minimum. You can rent for a single day.

Each calendar day counts as one rental day, starting from the pickup or delivery date you choose. Specifically, a rental day refers to a calendar day rather than a 24-hour window, which is what gives us time to inspect and sanitise an item between bookings. For example, a booking from Friday to Sunday is three rental days.

Do longer rentals cost less per day?

Yes. The daily rate falls automatically the longer you rent.

Prices shown on each product page are per day, and every product carries a rate ladder, also known as pricing tiers, rather than one flat rate. The reduction is applied to your total at checkout once you have selected your dates, so there is no code to enter and nothing to ask for. Monthly stays reach the lowest band. In short, the longer you keep it the less each day costs. Source: How it works.

Can I cancel or change a booking?

Yes. You can modify or cancel up to 24 hours before your rental start date, free of charge.

Free cancellation means that no fee at all is charged inside that window. Cancel by logging into your account and choosing the cancellation option, or by contacting customer service. However, cancellations later than that may incur a fee. If you need to extend rather than cancel, contact us at least 48 hours before your return date and we will check availability; additional charges apply. Refunds take up to 10 business days to reach your account once processed.

Do you deliver to hotels and apartments?

Yes. We deliver to hotels, Airbnbs, serviced apartments and private residences in both cities.

In Lisbon that includes the city centre, Lisbon Airport and the Lisbon Cruise Terminal, as well as Cascais, Caparica, Setubal, Sesimbra and Comporta. In Paris it covers every arrondissement, CDG and Orly airports, and the Disneyland Paris area. Delivery is priced by location and the fee is shown at checkout. Collection at the end of the booking works the same way.

Can I collect the equipment myself?

Yes. Self-pickup is available at our designated locations.

Self-pickup refers to collecting the item from one of our designated locations yourself, rather than having it brought to you. Bring photo ID and your order confirmation. Additionally, collecting in person avoids the delivery fee, so it is worth considering if you are passing one of our locations anyway. Delivery and collection remain the default and are what most bookings use.

How is the equipment cleaned between rentals?

Every item is deep-cleaned and sanitised after each return, by us, before it goes out again.

We use perfume-free, baby-safe products, and we clean according to the manufacturer's own instructions for that specific item rather than to one house method. Notably, we do not ask customers to do any of this: please do not machine-wash, disassemble or use harsh chemicals on our equipment. Spot-cleaning with mild soap is fine. Handling the cleaning ourselves is the only way the standard stays consistent across every rental.

Are your car seats EU-approved?

Yes. Every car seat in the fleet meets ECE R44/04 or the newer ECE R129 i-Size standard.

i-Size refers to ECE R129, the newer of the two standards, and either one is legal for use in Portugal and France. According to the approval label on the seat itself, which every seat carries, you can check which standard yours meets. Printed instructions come with every car seat rental, and video setup guides where they exist. For safety and liability reasons we cannot install a car seat for you, so the seat itself is clearly labelled with the basic setup steps as well.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards, MB Way, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Full payment is taken at the time of booking, which is what reserves the items for your dates. In addition, there is no security deposit, which means that nothing is held against your card afterwards. Simply put, you pay once and there is nothing further to settle.
