Booking a rental

Rent Anything is a short-term rental service for people staying in Lisbon and Paris. You pay a daily rate for an item, use it for the dates you booked, and return it at the end.

How does this booking form work?

It has five stages: city, products, dates, delivery, then a summary you check before checkout.

Each stage remembers what you chose, so you can move back and change something without starting again.

How much does it cost to rent per day?

Rates are quoted per day and depend on the item. Longer bookings cost less per day, because each product has a rate ladder rather than one flat price.

The summary stage shows the total for your exact dates, so you never have to work the ladder out yourself.

Is there a minimum rental period?

Yes. Each product states its own minimum rental period, shown in the availability section on that product page.

Do you deliver, or do I collect the item?

Both are available, and you choose between them at the delivery stage of this form.

Delivery is priced from the distance between the warehouse in your city and the address you give, so the cost appears once you have entered it.

What happens after I book?

You go to checkout and pay, then receive your items on the start date you chose, either delivered or ready to collect.

What do I need before I can book?

Yes, just two things: the city and the dates. Express booking refers to completing a rental in one pass rather than exchanging messages first, and the funnel above asks for exactly what the price depends on, in order: where you are, what you want, when you want it, and whether it is delivered or collected. Nothing else is needed to see a firm total, and no account has to be created before the last step.

When am I charged?

At the end, once you have seen the full total. The price shown before payment already includes VAT and any delivery and collection you have chosen, so the figure you approve is the figure taken. No deposit is held and nothing is pre-authorised against the card, which means there is no second amount to watch for and nothing waiting to be released afterwards.

Can I book for today?

Yes in Lisbon, where delivery is same-day. Paris is next-day, so a Paris rental should be booked at least a day before it starts. Disneyland Paris is same-day when the order is placed before 15:00 Paris time, because that stock sits about five kilometres from the resort rather than in central Paris. The funnel applies the right rule once you pick the city, so an impossible date simply will not be offered.

Can I change the dates after booking?

Yes. Message us with the new dates and the booking is moved rather than cancelled and rebooked. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start and refunds in full. Inside 24 hours it is still worth telling us, because anything that has not left the van can usually still be stopped.

What is included in the price I see?

The rental itself, VAT, and delivery and collection when you choose them. Rates fall the longer you rent, so the daily figure on a long booking is lower than on a short one, and the band that covers your dates applies to every day of the rental rather than only the days past a threshold. Cleaning is included and there is no end-of-rental charge.
